In part 2 of this tutorial we will dive into sanding, rim clean up, and adding vinyl decals.
1
Sand
2
Clean up the rim
3
Scuff up the bottom.
4
Feel for any areas that still need sanding
5
Use a true control knife to remove any drips from the inside of the cup.
6
Wipe with alcohol
7
Weed and transfer decal to transfer tape
8
Apply decal to tumbler
9
Add a thin top coat over decals. Without decals this could have been a final coat.
10
Sand smooth being cautious of any vinyl that hasn’t gotten fully covered.
11
Wipe with alcohol and allow to dry.
12
Mix and pour a final layer (fingers crossed! 🤞🏼)
There are so many ways you could do any 1 step so feel free to be creative & go with your own flow.
