In this tutorial I will show you how I make a basic single color epoxy glitter tumbler.
1
Prep cup with a light Sand.
2
Wash and dry
3
Put onto handle and wipe with alcohol. Allow to DRY completely.
4
Spray paint your tumbler in a well ventilated area. Allow to dry. Repeat if necessary.
5
I measure epoxy with the water method. Part A line.
6
Part B line. Total 20 mls epoxy. Dump the water.
7
DUMP WATER FIRST! Fill part A to first line and part B to second line.
8
Mix until clear.
9
Apply thin coat, under 1-5 ml depending on size. Spread evenly.
10
Glitter
11
Don’t forget the bottom!
12
Spin 2-4 hours.
13
Mix and apply epoxy. 10-20 mls based on cup size.
No sanding unless you cannot feel roughness from your glitter. Add a top coat.
Sanding, rim clean up, and vinyl decals coming in part 2!

  1. My CCDIY never turns clear. It gets cloudier the more I stir it. I think my cups come out fine tho… What am I doing wrong?

    1. I bet it is the WAY you stir. I use a specific technique for mixing that I talk about in step 8 on my youtube video. Do you want more explanation on my technique? I could do a live if that sounds helpful. 🙂

  2. This is amazing! I really want to start tumblers but it makes me nervous. This blog post is so helpful and easy to follow
